01Thesis

Build the market around the asset.

Tokens do not create a market on their own. Grain, meat and seafood come first — with cargo documentation, traceability, clearly defined legal rights and verified custody. Only when the physical asset and its rights are established does token issuance become meaningful, and only then can trading, settlement and finance follow with confidence.

The corridor therefore begins with real trade between Kazakhstan and Viet Nam, and builds the market infrastructure around it, step by step.

What precedes a token

  1. 01Physical goods
  2. 02Cargo documents
  3. 03Traceability
  4. 04Legal rights
  5. 05Verified custody
  6. 06Token issuance

Three connected pillars

  1. A

    Regulatory cooperation

Adapting AIFC experience to the Vietnamese framework

Kazakhstan shares practical experience in building a financial centre, regulating digital assets and supervising new market venues. This is knowledge transfer: every permission is defined and granted by Vietnamese authorities within their own framework.

  2. B

    A Vietnamese tokenized commodity venue

Commodity Chain-enabled trading, locally licensed and cleared

A Vietnamese exchange, authorized under Vietnamese law, uses Commodity Chain infrastructure to list tokenized rights in verified commodities, with local clearing and settlement.

  3. C

    Trade finance

Working capital, payment rails and a future neobank

Verified, tradable commodity rights can support working capital for exporters and importers and more efficient cross-border payments. A potential digital bank is evaluated as an independent feasibility stream.

02The corridor

A real trade corridor, carried by documented shipments.

Each token right is linked to a specific, documented shipment — its origin, its inspection, its custody and its delivery. The corridor runs in both directions.

Choose a direction

VietJet's aviation network offers a practical logistics integration route for initial perishable commodity flows.

Five stages, one shipment

Select a stage to see how it works.

01 — Cargo

A defined shipment is contracted between an exporter and an importer, with quantity, grade, packaging and delivery terms set out in standard trade documents.

A chilled beef lot or a grain consignment contracted for delivery to Viet Nam.

03Market design

Four modules, one controlled system.

The market is designed as a chain of accountable modules. Each has a clear owner, clear controls and a clear handover to the next — framed by a common rail for governance, security and audit.

Security · Controls · Audit trail
04Partnership

Four institutions, one shared ambition.

Each partner brings a distinct capability. Together they cover the regulatory, market, technology and local implementation dimensions of the corridor.

05Regulatory pathway

A clear regulatory pathway.

Licensing and approvals rest with the competent Vietnamese authorities, and each step of the corridor proceeds with their approval. AIFC contributes experience from Kazakhstan's framework to help frame the right questions and practical answers.
